Ben's First Christmas

Ben was digging this toy from Auntie Kirstie. Its a penguin and it makes sounds when its hit or kicked, and it doesn't fall over. Like a giant weeble wooble!

We were decorating the Christmas tree and he found one of the fake candy cane decorations. He wouldn't let it go. ha ha

Ben is becoming such a little person. He smiles to pretty much everything. Sleeps through the night. He loves making raspberries, taking baths and being sang to. His favorite songs are patty-cake and head and shoulders.

He is loving this Christmas thing. All the bright lights and colors and music. His favorite so far seems to be frosty the snowman. He's not so much of a fan of the snow, but I'm sure he'll grow into it. ;)

Look how tiny he is. I can't believe how much he has grown. I didn't even really realize how much until my friend brought her brand new baby over.

i suck at updating this thing

im 16 weeks pregnant now! no longer in my 1st trimester

i have the 18-22 week ultrasound on april 15th.,.i will be 20 weeks than and we will find out the sex!

We are having a baby!!!

When I heard I was pregnant, I didnt want to believe..not because I didn't want a baby..because I do..but because I didnt want to get my hopes up. I was almost convinced it was a false alarm, or that when we went in for the ultrasound there would be no baby or a heartbeat. Sure enough...

we went in for the ultrasound to find that I was 8 weeks and 3 days pregnant. (8 weeks and 5 days today). And we saw the baby...a little tiny peanut..with a strong heartbeat. How amaazing is it to see your little baby...even though its not much human form yet...hear the heartbeat and know that you created life. That only a short time from now you would be holding that little life in your arms. I can not wait to know the sex of the baby.

Here are the names we have so far.

 For a girl : Teagan Autumn Brann

 For a boy: Benjamin Nathan Brann

Nathan is after a friend I had lost a few years back. I will forever miss him and want to carry his memory with us. 

I couldnt ask for anything more. Our baby is going to be blessed with the dad waiting for him/her. The aunts and uncles..the HUGE family waiting the arrival of this little one.
